A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, PARTICI-
PATION IN THE SUNLINE TRANSIT AGENCY
WHEREAS, the SunLine Board of Directors has approved
entry into the SunLine Transit Agency by the City of
La Quinta; and
WHEREAS, the Board has waived the norrnal requirernent
of a direct capital contribution of $25,OOO?OO; and
WHEREAS, annual participation is provided through an
allocation of Transit Development Act funds on behalf of
the City of La Quinta for public transportation purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of La Quinta, to authorize participation by the
City of La Quinta in the SunLine Transit Agency.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5th day of October 1982.
