A RESOLUTION OF THE CCUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA QUINTA
CONSENTING TO AND CALLING A JOINT tJBLIC HEARING C?
THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE LA QUINTA REDEVELOP-
MENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency submitted to the City
Council of the City of La Quinta a proposed Redevelopment Plan for the
La Quinta Redevelopment Project and consented to and requested that the
City Council call a joint public hearing of the Agency and the City
Council to consider and act upon the proposed Redevelopment Plan, and
WHEREAS, the City Council acknowledges receipt of the proposed Re-
development Plan, and
WHEREAS, Section 33355 of the California Community Redevelopment
Law Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.) authorizes a joint
public hearing on the proposed Redevelopment Plan with the consent of the
Agency and the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
La Quinta as follows:
1. The City Council hereby consents to and, at the request of the
Agency, calls a joint public hearing of tile Agency and the City Council
in the La Quinta City Council Chambers, to consider and act upon the
proposed Redevelopment Plan and all documents and evidence pertaining
thereto. The time and date of such joint public hearing shall be deter-
mined by the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk of the City of La Quinta shall in cooperation
with the Executive Director of the Agency prepare, publish and mail such
notices and documents, and do all other acts as may be necessary to
carry out the purposes of this resolution.
