CC Resolution 1983-066(h RESOLUTION NO. 83?6 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TUE CITY OF LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING CERTAIN CLASSIFICATIONS OF CITY OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES AS AUTHORIZED TO ISSUE CITATIONS FOR CERTAIN VIOLATIONS OF LAW. WHEREAS, Section 1.08.050 of the La Quinta Municipal Code provides that certain officers and employees may be designated by resolution of the City Council to exercise arrest and citation authority as to specified violations of law; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of La Quinta that the following classifications of officers and employees of the City of La Quinta hereby are designated to exercise the arrest and citation authority prescribed in Section 1.08.050 of the La Quinta Municipal Code as to the violations of law which are set forth below, next to their designations: Officer Or Employee Violations 1. Animal Control Officer All Municipal Code provisions relating to animals and all California Penal Code provisions relating to animals. 2. Community Safety Coordi- All Municipal Code and other nator,and Code Enforcement ordinance provisions, and the Officers following Sections of the California Penal Code: 372 maintaining a public nuisance) 374b. illegal dumping), 374b.5. littering), 556 unlawful advertising signs on public property) 597e. and f. animals without proper care and attention or food or water) 647c. obstructing street or sidewalk) 3. Senior Building Inspectori All Municipal Code and other Building Official, and ordinance provisions, Title 25 Building Inspectors of the California Administrative Code, and California Penal Code provisions relating to littering and illegal dumping. 4. Fire Marshal and Fire All provisions of the Uniform Inspectors Fire Code and of La Quinta Ordinance No. 7 and any similar ordinance hereafter enacted adopting any future edition of the Uniform Fire Code, all provisions of Title 19 of the California Administrative Code, BIB] 04-29-1996-U01 08:09:44AM-U01 CCRES-U02 83-U02 66-U02 (h all provisions of Chapter 11.20 of the La Quinta Municipal Code concerning explosives, and all other provisions of the Municipal Code or of ordinances of the City or of State law relating to fire safety, prevention, suppression, or fire nuisances.
