A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE STATE
CEQA GUIDELINES AND FUTURE AMENDMENTS THERETO.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of La Ouinta,
California, as follows:
SECTION 1. In accordance with Public Resources Code Section
21082, the City Council hereby adopts the State CEQA Guidelines
Chapter 3, Division 6, Title 14 of the California Administrative
Code) and all future amendments thereto, for the consideration and
evaluation of projects to be approved by the City subject to the
California Environmental Quality Act.
SECTION 2. The adoption of the State Guidelines as referred
to in Section 1 above shall supersede the previously applied
Riverside County CEQA guidelines which were adopted by reference
by this City Council by Section 3 of Ordinance No 5
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of November 1983.
