CC Resolution 1984-009( RESOLUTION NO.84-9
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING FOR OWNERSHIP
AND MAINTENANCE THE BRIDGES AT EISENHOWER DRIVE
AND WASHINGTON STREET WHICH CROSS THE LA QUINTA
EVACUATION CHANNEL.
WHEREAS, within the territory of the City of La Quinta, there
is included a bridge structure at Eisenhower Drive and a bridge
structure at Washington Street which cross the La Quinta Evacua-
tion Channel; and
WHEREAS, said bridges were built by the Coachella Valley
Water District with plan approval by the Road Department of the
County of Riverside, such bridges conforming to Riverside County
standards; and
WHEREAS, the Coachella Valley Water District has asked that
the City of La Quinta accept said bridges for ownership and
maintenance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of La Quinta, California, that said bridges are hereby
accepted for ownership and maintenance from the Coachella Valley
Water District.

1984, by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Allen, Henderson, Wolff and Mayor Baler.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Council Member Cox.
