RESOLUTION NO. 4 6
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, EXPR?SSING
INTENITON TO DEDICATE THE LA QUINTA FLOOD
CONTROL FACILITIES TO BOB BAlER AND BERT
KLEIN.
WHEREAS, Bob Baler and Bert Klein have been residents of
La Quinta for many years; and
WHEREAS. Bob and Bert have led efforts during that time to
obtain flood control for La Quinta; and
WHEREAS, the City of La Quinta and the Coachella Valley Water
District are working together?to construct flood control facilIties
within the next year; and
WHEREAS, Bob Bajer. as a Council Member, and Bert Klien, as
an active citizen, have brought closer the completion of the La Quinta
flood control project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of La Quinta that the City Council express its intent to dedicate
the flood control facilities, upon completion, to Bob Baler and
Bert Klein. in grateful appreciation for their service to their
community.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th day of November, 19g4.
