CC Resolution 1994-017 RESOLUTION NO. 94-17
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING GIFT OF GUEST
BADGES FOR BOB HOPE CHRYSLER CLASSIC GOLF TOURNAMENT.
WHEREAS, in February 1994, KLS, Inc. generously donated to the City
tournament guest badges for the 1994 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic Golf Tournament on February
16 through February 20, 1994; and
WHEREAS, the gift was donated to the City and its personnel and was not given
to or limited to the use of any particular employee or official, and;
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to accept the donation and to
direct the City Manager to control distribution of the tournament guest badges.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of La Quinta does hereby
RESOLVE as follows:
1. The City of La Quinta hereby accepts the donation of guest badges for the
1994 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic Golf Tournament;
2. The City Manager is hereby directed to control distribution of said guest
badges on a first-come first-serve basis.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of February 1994 by the
following vote:
AYES: Council Members Bangerter, Perkins~ Sniff, Mayor Pena
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: Council Member McCartney
ABSENT: None
