CC Resolution 1994-023 RESOLUTION NO. 94-23
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA
QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE TEMPORARY STREET
CLOSURE OF AVENIDA BERMUDAS ON MARCH 25, 1994 FOR
A SPECIAL EVENT TO BE HELD BY THE LA QUINTA CHAMBER OF
COMMERCE.
WHEREAS, by the authority granted to the City Council of the City of La Quinta
pursuant to Section 21101 (e) of the California Vehicle Code, and Section 12.16.010 of the La
Quinta Municipal Code, the following street closure is established for a special event to be held
on March 25, 1994:
1. Avenue Bermudas, between Calle Estado and Calle Cadiz is to be closed;
and
2. Said closure shall be in effect from 6:30 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. on March 25,
1994; and
3. Pursuant to Section 12.16.050 "Obedience Required" of the La Quinta
Municipal Code, enforcement is hereby authorized provided that traffic
control devices are in place, and sufficiently legible to be seen by an
ordinarily observant person.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of La
Quima, California that it hereby approves the temporary street closure of Avenida Bermudas.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of March, 1994 by the
following vote:
