1996 02 06 RDA Minutes LA QUINTA REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MINUTES february 6, 1996 Regular meeting of the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency was called to order by Chairman Sniff. PRESENT: Board Members Adolph, Bangerter, Henderson, Perkins, Chairman Sniff ABSENT: None CONFIRMATION OF AGENDA Confirmed APPROVAL OF MINUTES MOTION It was moved by Board Members Bangerter/Perkins to approve the Minutes of January 16, 1996 as submitted. Motion carried unanimously. PUBLIC COMMENT None BUSINESS SESSION 1. STATEMENT OF PROPERTY OWNERSHIP BY BOARD MEMBERS ADOLPH AND HENDERSON. Council Member Adolph advised that he owns residential property located at 55-105 Riviera, La Quinta. Council Member Henderson advised that she residential properties located at 54-711 Eisenhower Drive and 54-685 Eisenhower Drive. 2. CONSIDERATION OF AMENDMENT NO.1 TO TRUST AGREEMENT FOR THE LA QUINTA FINANCING AUTHORITY, LOCAL AGENCY REVENUE BONDS SERIES 1991 CITY HALL PROJECT). MOTION- It was moved by Board Members Adolph/Bangerter to authorize our bond trustee, First Trust, to contact bondholders of the 1991 City Hall Project and request their approval of Amendment No. 1 to the Trust Agreement. APPROVAL OF AN EXPENDITURE OF UP TO $15,000 OF LOW-MOD HOUSING FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF TAX-DEFAULTED PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF LA QUINTA PROJECT AREA NO.1. MOTION- It was moved by Board Members PerkinslAdolph that the Consent Calendar be approved as recommended. Motion carried unanimously. DEPARTMENT REPORTS None CHAIR AND BOARD MEMBERS ITEMS None PUBLIC HEARINGS None Agency recessed to Closed Session. CLOSED SESSION 1. Conference with real property negotiator pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8 concerning an amendment to the Disposition and Development Agreement with Williams Development Company that would affect the terms of payment for the property located on Calle Tampico, west of Washington Street. Property Owner Negotiator: Betty Williams 2. Conference with Agency real property negotiator pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8 concerning potential on and off-site improvement assistance for property located at the southwest corner of Dune Palms Road and Highway 111. Property Owner Negotiator: Lee and Associates. Agency Board reconvened with no decision being made which requires reporting pursuant to Section 54957.1 of the Government Code Brown Act).
