Regular meeting of the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency was called to order by Chairman
Sniff.
PRESENT: Board Members Bangerter, McCartney, Pena, Perkins, Chairman Sniff

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
MOTION It was moved by Board Members Bangerter/McCartney to approve Minutes of
September 20 and October 4, 1994 as submitted. Motion carried unanimously.
PUBLIC COMMENT None
CONSENT CALENDAR
1. APPROVAL OF DEMAND REGISTER, DATED OCTOBER 18, 1994.
2. ACCEPTANCE OF ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 92-1 PHASE V COVE
IMPROVEMENTS.
MOTION It was moved by Board Members Perkins/Pena that the Consent Calendar
be approved as recommended Motion carried unanimously.

1. Conference with real property negotiator pursuant to Government Code Section
54956.8 regarding potential terms of sale of property located at the corner of Dune
Palms Road and Avenue 48 Jack Matlock, negotiator for Desert Sands Unified
School District.

JOINT PUBLIC HEARING WITH THE CITY OF LA OUINTA CITY COUNCIL
1. CONSIDERATION OF RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT AND
ESCROW INSTRUCTIONS FOR SALE AND ACQUISITION OF UNIMPROVED
PROPERTY BY AND BETWEEN THE LA QUINTA REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY AND THE DESERT SANDS UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT AND
MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH.
Mr. Herman, Planning Director, advised that the subject property was purchased by ffie
Redevelopment Agency from Landmark Land/Resolution Trust Corporation in June 1994
and negotiations then began with the Desert Sands Unified School District for purchase
of 10 acres to be used for an elementary school site.
The Chairman declared the PUBLIC HEARING OPEN. There being no one wishing
to speak, the Chairman declared the PUBLIC HEARING CLOSED.
RESOLUTION NO. RA 94-19
A RESOLUTION OF THE LA QUINTA REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE
CITY OF LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT AND ESCROW INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE
SALE AND ACQUISITION OF UNIMPROVED REAL PROPERTY BY AND
BETWEEN THE LA QUINTA REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND DESERT
SANDS UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT AND MAKING CERTAIN FINDINGS IN
CONNECTION THEREWITH.
It was moved by Board Members Pena/Mccartney to adopt Resolution No. RA 94-19
as submitted. Motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Board Members Mccartney/Bangerter to adjourn. Motion carried
unanimously.
It was moved by Board Members Mccartney/Pena to reconsider the adjournment. Motion
carried unanimously.
