NOVEMBER 16, 1993
Regular? meeting of the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency was called to order by Chairman
Pena.
PRESENT: Board Members Bangerter, Perkins, Sniff, Chairman Pena

IRM.ATION OF AGENDA
Mr. unL, Executive Director, recommended that Business Session No.1 be continued until the
next meeting due to the number of Board Members present who would be able to discuss the
maup?
M? ION It was moved by Board Members Bangerter/Perkins to approve the Agency Minutes
of November 2, 1993. Motion carried unanimously.
PUbLIC COMMENT None
BUSINESS SESSION
1. FIRST QUARTER BUDGET REPORT.
Chairman Pena and Board Member Bangerter abstained from this issue due to conflicts
of interests and left the dais.
Audrey Ostrowsky, P.O. Box 351, La Quinta, addressed the Board and presented
additional petitions requesting that the lower Cove Phase V) be completed with
permanent streets as opposed to the temporary streets. She felt that the residents of the
lower Cove are being discriminated against.

CONSENT CALENDAR
1. APPROVAL OF DEMAND REGISTeR DATED NOVEMBER 16, 1993.
MOTION It was moved by Board Members Bangerter/Perkins that the Consent
Calendar be approved as recommended. Motion carried unanimously.

CLOSED SESSION
1. Discussion of negotiations pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8
a. The Tucker Company's proposal for commercial project La Quinta Canyon
center) located generally south of highway 111 west of adams street and east
of dune palms road.
b. Williams Development Corporation proposal for housing project including
potential land acquisition in the Cove area.
The Board reconvened with no action being taken.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
