OCTOBER 19, 1993
Regular meeting of the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency was called to order by Chairman
Pena.
PRESENT Members Bangerter, McCartney, Perkins, Sniff, Chairman Pena.
ABSENT: None

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
MOTION It was moved by Members Sniff/Bangerter that the Minutes of October 5, 1993 be
approved as submitted. Motion carried unanimously.
PUBLIC COMMENT
Audrey Ostrowsky, P.O. Box 351, stated that low-income housing should be built throughout
the City not just in the Cove area and that she cannot sell her property until streets, curbs, and
gutters have been installed.
BUSINESS SESSION
1. CONS? CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL TO TRANSFER BOND RESERVE FUNDS TO
L.A.I.F.
MOTION It was moved by Members Sniff/Mccartney to approve the transfer of bond
reserve funds to LMF, with the approval of the bank trustees. Motion carried
unanirnously.

MOTION It was moved by Members Bangerter/Sniff that the Consent Calendar be
approved as recommended. Motion carried unanimously.

a. Discussion of negotiations pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8
The Tucker Company's proposal for commercial project La Quinta Canyon
Center) located generally south of Highway 111 west of Adams Street and
east of Dune Palms Road.
Amcor Realty Properties Ill/A-A-A Housing Partners proposal for housing
and commercial project including potential acquisition of property in the
Cove area.
The Board reconvened with no action being taken.
There bemg no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
