MINUTES
JANUARY 5, 1993
Regular meeting of the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency was called to
order by Chairman Pena.
PRESENT: Mrs. Bangerter, Mr. Perkins, Mr. Sniff, Chairman Pena
ABSENT: One Vacancy)
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
MOTION It was moved by Mr. Sniff, seconded by Mrs. Bangerter that
the Minutes of December 15, 1992 be approved as submitted. Motion
carried with Mr. Perkins abstaining.
PUBLIC COMMENT None
BUSINESS SESSION
1. STATEMENT OF NEW BOARD MEMBER'S PROPERTY INTERESTS LOCATED
WITHIN PROJECT AREA NO. 1 AND PROJECT AREA NO. 2.
Ms. Honeywell, Agency Counsel, advised that declaration of
Members property interests within a Redevelopment Project Area
is a requirement of the Health and Safety Code. She noted
that there is also a separate code section which prohibits
purchasing any new property, except one that you're going to
live in as a residence during the time you will be an Agency
Member.
Mr. Perkins advised that he has no property interests within
either Project Area No. 1 or Project Area No. 2.
Mrs. Bangerter advised that she has interests in the following
properties:
53-245 Avenida Martinez
APN 617-370-011 Parcels 3 & 4 together at Date Palm and
Sagebrush
APN 774-273-009
APN 773-085-001
APN 773-131-001
APN 769-077-002
APN 773-302-002
APN 774-053-007
APN 774-053-008
