RDA Resolution 1983-01 RESOLUTION NO. R.A. 83-1
A RESOLUTION OF THE LA QUINTA DEVELOPMENT AGENCY
ORGANIZING THE LA QUINTA REflEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND
NAMING OFFICERS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of La Quinta has by
Ordinance No. 34 declared a need for a Redevelopment Agency to
function within the City of La Quinta; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the La Quinta Redevelopment
Agnecy to organize and select a chairman and a vice-chairman in
order to proceed with the business before it on August 16, 1983.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
SECTION 1. The members of the City Council of the City of
La Quinta organize themselves on August 16, 1983, as members of the
La Quinta Redevelopment Agency.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and Mayor Pro Tempore of the City of
La Quinta, respectively, shall become the Chairman and Vice-
Chairman of the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16th day of August 1983,
by the following vote:
AYES: Agency Members Allen, Henderson and Chairman Baier.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Agency Members Cox and Wolff.
