A RESOLUTION OF THE LA QUINTA REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY DESIGNATING THE INDIO DAILY NEWS AS
A NEWSPAPER OF GENERAL CIRCULATION FOR PUB-
LICATION OF OFFICIAL NOTICES.
WHEREAS, Section 6040 et seq. of the Government Code of the
State of California requires the publication of official notices
in a newspaper of general circulation within the jurisdiction of
the public entity; and
WHEREAS, the Indio Daily News is a newspaper of general
circulation within the jurisdiction of the La Quinta Redevelopment
Agency.
NOW, THEREFORE, the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency does
resolve that the Indio Daily News is the newspaper of general
circulation in which the official notices of the La Quinta
Redevelopment Agency shall be published.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16th day of Auust 1983,
by the following vote:
AYES: Agency Members Allen, Henderson and Chairman Baier.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Agency Members Cox and Wolff.

RESOLUTION NO. RA-84-3
A RESOLUTION OF THE LA QUINTA REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY,
APPROVING A BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1983-194.
WHEREAS, a budget for the Fiscal Year 1983-1984 has been
prepared by the Executive Director and the Director of Finance; and
WHEREAS, the La Quinta Redevelopflient Agency has examined said
budget and conferred with the Executive Director and the Director
of Finance; and
WHEREAS, the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency desires to adopt a
budget for the fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency has, after due
deliberation and consideration, made such amendments in the proposed
budget as it considers desirable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the La Quinta Redevelopment
Agency as follows:
SECTION 1. The budget, a suininary of which is attached hereto
and made a part hereof, is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. The Executive Director shall have authority to adjust
the amounts appropriated among objects within each departmental
activity, and among accounts within the objects, provided however,
that the total appropriations for each fund may not exceed the amounts
provided in this budget resolution or any amending resolution). Said
adjustments shall be made only upon written justification by the
Executive Director, Director of Finance or department head(s) responsible
for the activity or activities involved.
SECTION 3. Transfer of cash or unappropriated fund balance
from one fund to another shall be made only upon resolution of the
La Quinta Redevelopment Agency.
SECTION 4. The Director of Finance shall render a monthly
report to the Agency Members on the status of Agency operations as
relates to the approved budget and any amendments thereto. The
Director of Finance shall design a standard format for such reports,
to be approved by the Finance Committee
