RDA Resolution 1983-05 RESOLUTION NO. RA-83-5
A RESOLUTION OF THE LA QUINTA REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A COOPERATION AGREEMENT
WITH THE CITY OF LA QUINTA.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of La Quinta, acting
pursuant to the provisions of the California Community Redevelopment
Law Health & Safety Code Section 33000 et has activated the
agency and has declared itself to constitute the Agency, by Ordinance
No. 34, adopted on July 5, 1983; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Community Redevelopment Law, the Agency
is performing a public function of the City and may have access to
services and facilities of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City and the Agency are undertaking proceedings for
the adoption of a redevelopment project in the City, and the City and
Agency desire to enter into an agreement:
1) To set forth activities, services, and facilities which the
City will render for and make available to the Agency in furtherance
of the activities and functions of the Agency under the Conmlunity
Redevelopment Law; and
2) To provide that the Agency will reimburse the City for
actionS undertaken and costs and expenses incurred by it for and on
behalf of the Agency.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the La Quinta Redevelopment
Agency that the Chairman and Secretary of the Agency are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the Cooperation Agreement"
between the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency and the City of La Quinta,
in the form attached to this resolution, and incorporated herein by
reference.

by the following vote:
AYES: Agency Members Allen, Henderson and Chairman Baier.
NOES: None.
