RDA Resolution 1983-21 RESOLUTION NO. RA-83-21 A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF LA QUINTA CERTIFYING THAT THE ENVIRON- MENTAL IMPACT REPORT PREPARED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE LA QUINTA REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT IS RECOGNIZED AS ADEQUATE AND COMPLETE. WHEREAS, as part of the implementation of the Citys General Plan and pursuant to Community Redevelopment Law, the La Quinta Redevelopment Project hereinafter project") has been prepared; and WHEREAS, said plan sets forth objectives and policies which serve as a guide for the future development of the City of La Quinta; and WHEREAS, it is the policy of the State of California, the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency, and the City of La Quinta, in accordance with the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970 hereinafter CEQA') as amended Public Re- sources Code, Section 21000 et seq.), and the State Guidelines for Implementation of CEQA, as amended California Administrative Code, Section 15000 et seq.), that the City shall not approve a project unless there is no feasible way to lessen or avoid significant effects; meaning all impacts have been avoided to the extent feasible or substantially lessened and any remaining unavoidable significant impacts are acceptable based on CEQA, Section 15093; and WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report hereinafter EIR") has been prepared and circulated, pursuant to the requirements of CEQA; and WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of La Quinta has read and considered all environmental documentation comprising the EIR, has found that the EIR considers all potentially significant environmental impacts of the proposed La Quinta redevelopment project, is complete and adequate, and fully complies with all requirements of CEQA, the State guidelines for implementation; and WHEREAS, prior to implementation of the project and future projects associated with this redevelopment project the Redevelopment Agency has considered all significant impacts, mitigation measures, and project alternatives identified in the EIR, has found that all potentially significant impacts on the project have been lessened or avoided to the extent feasible; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Redevelopment Agency of La Quinta does hereby certify the EIR as adequate and complete, consisting of the following: Draft EIR Revisions to the Draft EIR Responses to comments received on the Draft EIR BIB] 11-04-1996-U01 04:35:48PM-U01 RDARES-U02 83-U02 21-U02 RESOLUTION NO.
