A RESOLUTION OF THE LA QUINTA REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
APPROVING THE COMPREHENSIVE LOW AND MODERATE
INCOME HOUSING PROGRAMS FOR REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECTS NO.1 AND NO.2
WHEREAS, the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency the Agency") is in the process of
implementing the Redevelopment Plan for Redevelopment Project No 1 as adopted by City of
La Quinta Ordinance No.34 and Redevelopment Project No.2 as adopted by City of La Quinta
Ordinance No.139 the Projects"); and
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Plans the Plans") for the Projects provide that certain
funds are to be made available to improve and expand the *supply of low and moderate income
housing, in conformity with the provisions of Section 33334.2 of the California Health and Safety
Code; and
WHEREAS, the Agency has accumulated * *excess of $500,000 in the Housing Funds of
said projects; and
WHEREAS, the Agency has prepared a program to provide assistance to both increase
and improve the supply of affordable housing for very low and moderate income households
entitled the Comprehensive Low and Moderate Income Housing Programs the Programs").
NOW, THEREFORE, the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency does resolve as follows:
1. The above recitals are true and correct.
2. The Agency approves the Program.
3. The Executive Director, subject to approval of Agency Counsel, is authorized to
execute on behalf of the Agency all documents necessary and proper to effectuate the
provisions of the Program.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this l5tb day of January 1991 by the
following vote:
