AUGUST 5, 1997
Regular meeting of the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency was called to order by
Chairman Sniff.
PRESENT: Board Members Adolph, Henderson, Perkins, Chairman Sniff
ABSENT: Board Member Holt
MOTION It was moved by Board Members HendersonlAdolph to excuse Board
Member Holt. Motion carried unanimously.
PUBLIC COMMENT None
CONFIRMATION OF AGENDA Confirmed
MOTION It was moved by Board Members Perkins/Henderson to approve the balance
of the agenda, including the Minutes of July 1 5, 1 997 and the Consent Calendar as
submitted. Motion carried unanimously.

3. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION AMENDING THE OWNER PARTICIPATION
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE LA QUINTA REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AND
HAROLD C. AND HARRIET S. HARRIS.

Agency recessed to Closed Session.
CLOSED SESSION
1. Conference with Agency's real property negotiator pursuant to Government
Code Section 54956.8, concerning potential terms and conditions of acquisition
and/or disposition of real property located at 78-226 Avenida La Fonda.*
Property Agent: Rupert Yessayian.
2. Conference with Agency's legal counsel pursuant to Government Code Section
54956.8. concerning potential acquisition of property located at 51-945
Avenida Bermudas at a trustee's sale date as yet undetermined) to retain the
Agency's CC&R's and Second Trust Deed against the property.
Agency Board reconvened with no decision being made which requires reporting
pursuant to Section 54957.1 of the Government Code Brown Act).
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. Motion carried
unanimously.
