RDA Resolution 1995-15^# I RESOLUTION RDA 95-15 A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF LA QUINTA APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF LOW AND MODERATE INCOME FUNDS TO THE GENERAL AGENCY FUND TO TRANSFER CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE OWNERSHIP AND CONTROL OF THE LOW AND MODERATE INCOME FUND WHEREAS, the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency the Agency"), acquired the property known as the Murphy property in May, 1991; and WHEREAS, the Agency wishes to develop or assist in the development of an affordable housing project to be located in a portion of the Murphy Property identified more specifically by the legal description attached as Exhibit A", hereto and incorporated herein by this reference the Property"); and WHEREAS, the Agency is authorized to acquire property for the development of affordable housing; and WHEREAS, the proposed $1,986,090 cost of the Property to the Low and Moderate Fund is based pursuant to the financial advisors report of the fair market value of the Property; and NOW, THEREFORE, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of La Quinta does resolve and find as follows: Section 1 The Agency approves the transfer of One Million Nine Hundred Eighty-Six Thousand and Ninety Dollars $1,986,090) to the General Redevelopment Agency Fund in consideration for the transfer of control and ownership of the Property to the Low and Moderate Fund for the purpose of developing or assisting in the development of an affordable housing project on the Property. Section 2. The Agency hereby finds that the flinds authorized in Section 1 are the fair market value for the Property based on the Agency fmancial consultant's review of the 1995 market sales data and conclusion that this amount is ajust value for the Property. Section 3.
