RDA Resolution 1994-11w*h II RESOLUTION NO. RA-94-11 A RESOLUTION OF THE LA QUINTA REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING A BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 94-95 WHEREAS, each year the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency adopts a Budget for Revenues and Expenditures for the upcoming Fiscal Year; and WHEREAS, the Agency desires to make provisions for a level of services commensurate with the needs of the City; and WHEREAS, the Agency has reviewed said budget and has had several public meetings to receive public input; and WHEREAS, the Agency has, after due deliberation and consideration, made such amendments in the proposed budget as it considers desirable; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency adopt, as follows: SECTION 1. The Fiscal Year 1994-95 Budget which is on file with the City Clerk, is hereby approved. SECTION 2. The Redevelopment Agency agrees to the reimbursement to the City for services performed by the City on behalf of the Agency. Such reimbursement, as computed and included in the budget document, shall include salary, salary related costs, direct costs, and indirect overhead costs. SECTION 3. Budget adjustment procedures are approved as follows: A. Additional appropriations and the transfer of cash or unappropriated fund balance from one fund to another shall be made only upon Agency approval. B. Transfers of budgeted appropriations between divisions or capital projects, which are the legislative control level, shall be made only upon Agency approval. C. Transfers of budgeted appropriations between accounts within a division or capital project may be made with the approval of the Executive Director or his designee. Prior year budget continuing Appropriations and Encumbrances for unexpended capital project appropriations remaining from uncompleted prior year capital projects shall be made with Executive Director approval. These carry-over appropriations are for prior year Agency approved capital projects and shall not exceed the approved project budget. Unexpended general operating appropriations will be incorporated into fund balance and will not be handled through a carry-over procedure. The carry-over appropriations will be reported to the Agency by the Executive Director. SECTION 4. That the prepayment of demands prior to audit by the Agency may be made by the Executive Director in conformity with the authority provided by Section 37208 of the Government Code of the State of California. SECTION 5. The Executive Director may authorize the acquisition and utilization of temporary personnel. SECTION 6. The Executive Director shall render a monthly report to the Agency on the status of Agency operations as relates to the approved budget and any amendments thereto.
