RESOLUTION RA95-01
A RESOLUTION OF THE LA QUINTA REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY CONSENTING TO AND CALLING FOR A JOINT
PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED
REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE LA QUINTA
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AS AMENDED BY
AMENDMENT NO.1
WHEREAS, the City Coun***1. *` La Quinta, California the City
Council") did duly pass and adopt Or*?:.-'*. ***iiber 29, 1993, and did thereby adopt
and approve the Redevelopment * *$ *.ta Redevelopment Project the
t'Redevelopment Plan"); and,
WHEREAS, the City Council did duly pass and adopt Ordinance 258 on
December 20, 1994, and did thereby revise certain time limitations set forth in the
Redevelopment Plan in compliance with Section 33333.6 of the Community Redevelopment
Law, California Health and Safety Code Sections 33000, * seq. the Community
Redevelopment Law"); and,
WHEREAS, the La Quinta Redevelopment Agency the Ag*ncy") has
undertaken the required steps for the consideration of the adoption of a proposed amendment
Amendment No.1") to the Redevelopment Plan; and,
WHEREAS, a draft Redeveloprr...*')* Plan for the La Quinta Redevelopment
Project as amended by Amendment No.1 the *"`*ti.ded i*'e*evelopment Plan") has been
prepared in accordance with the provisions of tne * *e'i*velopment Law; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 33355 of the Comm*'i*y Redevelopment
Law, a joint public hearing on the proposed Amendment No.1 may be held with the consent
of the Agency and the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the La Quinta Redevelopment
Agency as follows:
SECTION 1. The Agency hereby consents to a joint public hearing with the City
Council on the proposed Redevelopment Plan for the La Quinta Redevelopment Project as
amended by Amendment No.1, and requests the City Council to set the time and date of the
joint public hearing to consider Amendment No.1 and documents and evidence pertaining
thereto,
SECTION 2. The Agency's Executive Director is hereby authoriii:ed and directed to,
in cooperation with the City Clerk, prepare, publish, and mail such notices and documents,
and do all other acts as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this resolution.

SECTION 3 The Secretary of the Agency shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution*
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the La Quinta
Redevelopment Agency held the 3rd day of January 1995, by the following vote,
to wit:
