Meeting of the La Quinta Financing Authority was called to order by Chair Holt.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
MOTION It was moved by Board Members Sniff/Adolph to approve the Financing
Authority Minutes of November 5, 1 996 as submitted. Motion carried unanimously.
BUSINESS SESSION None
CONSENT CALENDAR
1. TRANSMITTAL OF TREASURY REPORT DATED JANUARY 31, 1997.
2. AUTHORIZATION TO SEND OUT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR AUDITING
SERVICES AND APPOINT A SELECTION COMMITTEE.
MOTION It was moved by Board Members Sniff/Adolph to approve the
consent calendar as recommended. Motion carried unanimously.
DEPARTMENT REPORTS
1. TRANSMITTAL OF REVENUE & EXPENDITURES REPORT DATED JANUARY 31,
1997.
MOTION It was moved by Board Members Sniff/Adolph to receive and file the
Revenue & Expenditures Report dated January 31, 1 997. Motion carried
unanimously.

There being no further business, it was moved by Board Members Sniff/Adolph to
adjourn. Motion carried unanimously.
The Financing Authority reconvened.
MOTION It was moved by Board Members Sniff/Henderson to reconsider Consent
Calendar Item No.2. Motion carried unanimously.

2. AUTHORIZATION TO SEND OUT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR AUDITING
SERVICES AND APPOINT A SELECTION COMMITTEE.
MOTION It was moved by Board Members Sniff/Henderson to direct staff to
renegotiate the contract with Conrad & Associates for auditing services.
Motion carried unanimously.
There being no further business, it was moved by Board Members Sniff/Henderson
to adjourn. Motion carried unanimously.
