ORD 209 ORDINANCE NO. 209
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA
AMENDING CHAPTER 2.18 TO THE LA QUINTA MUNICIPAL
CODE REGARDING COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of La Quinta ("City")
wishes to amend Chapter 2.18, Con~unity Services Commission, of
the La Quinta Municipal Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chapter 2.18.030, Section F, of the La Quinta
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
F. Commission members shall serve at the pleasure of the
city council, with compensation.
Section 2. Chapter 2.18.060, Section A, of the La Quinta
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
A. The commission shall meet regularly twice each month
on the date selected by the Commission. Special meetings may
be called by the chairman or a majority of the commission in
accordance with state law.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this ordinance and shall cause it to be posted or
published in a manner required 'by law.
The foregoing ordinance was introduced at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of La Quinta on the 7th day
of J-]y , 1992, and was passed and approved by the following
vote:
AYES: Council Members Bohnenberger, Rushworth, Sniff &
Mayor Pena
NOES: None
ABSENT: Conncil Member Franklin
ABSTAIN: None ~M
