AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA,
AMENDING SECTION 2.04.020 OF THE LA QUINTA MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO PLACE OF REGULAR MEETINGS OF THE CITY
COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of La Quinta wishes to amend Chapter
2.04, Council, of the La Quinta Municipal Code relating to the regular meeting place of the City
Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Chapter 2.04.020 of the La Quinta Municipal Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"The regular meetings of the City Council shall be held at the Civic Center, 78-
495 Calle Tampico, La Quinta, California. "
SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE: This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect thirty days following date of adoption.
SECTION 3. POSTING: The City Clerk shall, within 15 days after passage of
this Ordinance, cause it to be posted in at least three public places as designated by Resolution
of the City Council; shall certify to the adoption and posting of this Ordinance; and shall cause
this Ordinance and its certification, together with proof of posting, to be entered into the Book
of Ordinances of this City.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of La
Quinta, California on this 3rd day of August, 1993 by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Bangerter, McCartney, Perkins, Sniff, Mayor
