AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA QUINTA,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 2.65.090(B) OF THE LA QUINTA
CHARTER AND MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ART IN PUBLIC
PLACES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA QUINTA, CALIFORNIA, DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 2.65, Section 2.65.090(B) of the La Quinta Charter
and Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
2.65.090 Development Fee.
B. All residential structures whose Project Costs is in excess of $200,000 will be
charged a Fee hereunder equal to the greater of:
1. 1 /4 of 1 % for that portion of Project Cost in excess of $200,000; or
2. Twenty Dollars ($20.00).
SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
thirty (30) days after its adoption.
SECTION 3. POSTING: The City Clerk shall within fifteen (15) days after
passage of this Ordinance, cause it to be posted in at least three (3) public places
designated by resolution of the City Council; shall certify to the adoption and posting
of this Ordinance; and shall cause this Ordinance and its certification, together with
proof of posting to be entered into the Book of Ordinances of the City of La Quinta.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
this 15th day of February, 2000 by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Adolph, Henderson, Perkins, Sniff, Mayor Pena
